A hard lesson in business branding

Its no secret that a business cannot survive if its not visible to the community its serving. Many great ideas and business dreams have died prematurely do to the lack of public awareness. I have personally experienced the vast difference in public response to a marketing effort based on poor or proper business branding. I would like to share my story and hope it will affirm the importance of properly branding your business and marketing efforts. I recently accompanied a roofing contractor called Chase Construction NW Inc. to two regional business fairs. The first event was held in Orting, Washington, called the Foothills Dash. Each vendor was to come with a booth to represent their company. Chase NW Roofing was accompanied by a roofing manufacturer called GAF. The branding generated community support and produced a powerful testimony. Another business said “We know you, you must be a huge company, we see you guys everywhere”. Chase Roofing is a medium size contractor, but proper branding has carried its reputation far and wide.
